Fire in Northern California

"Kind fire in Northern California weekends thanks to days of rain"

A massive wildfire that consumed more than 97,000 acres just east of Sacramento is dying out after a storm dumped several inches of rain in the region. With the decreased fire activity, the number of people battling the King fire has been reduced from nearly 8,000 to 4,420.
Cleanup efforts are underway as firefighters work to tamp down heavier fuels -- dry vegetation that can act as kindling -- that were sheltered from the rain by a dense forest canopy.

The rain produced some minor mud flows, and threatened at least one home, but firefighters were able to stabilize the area, Mackensen said.

Crews were evaluating homes and damaged buildings that may be endangered by future mudslides, he said.

09/11/2001

September 11, 2001 MEMORIAL
The September 11 attacks] were a series of four coordinated terrorist attacks launched by the Islamic terrorist group al-Qaeda upon The United States in New York City and the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area on Tuesday, September 11, 2001. The attacks killed almost 3,000 people and caused at least $10 billion in property and infrastructure damage.

Four passenger airliners were hijacked by 19 al-Qaeda terrorists so they could be flown into buildings in suicide attacks. Two of those planes, American airlines flight 11 and united airlines flight 175, were crashed into the north and south towers, respectively, of the world trade center complex in New York City. Within two hours, both towers collapsed with debris and the resulting fires causing partial or complete collapse of all other buildings in the WTC complex, as well as significant damage to ten other large surrounding structures. A third plane, American airlines flight 77, was crashed into the pentagon (the headquarters of The United States department of defense), leading to a partial collapse in its western side. The fourth plane, united airlines flight 93, was targeted at Washington, D.C.,[3] but crashed into a field near shanks Ville, Pennsylvania, after its passengers tried to overcome the hijackers. In total, almost 3,000 people died in the attacks, including the 227 civilians and 19 hijackers aboard the four planes. it also was the deadliest incident for firefighters and for law enforcement officers[4][5] in the history of the united states, with 343 and 72 killed respectively.
Years ago I knew about of the Twin Towers but I don't understand nothing, now I know more about of this and I feel very bad by the persons who died in the moment, I disagree with the war between the counties because no win nothing, only kill the people.

Reflection: I think that this attacks  to the Twin Towers affect so much to the United States while almost 3,000 people died in the attack, the country lost much money and have a big enemy,  the group Islamic al-Qaeda  did this for demonstrate to United States they don't should intervene with the Islamic s.
