Duties and Responsibilities: Allopathic physicians, M.D.s, are medical doctors who treat disease and injury using counteractive methods. For example, they will prescribe antibiotics to kill bacteria that have caused an infection. Allopathic physicians often work in public or private hospitals or clinics and many have private practices. Their work hours can be long and irregular. Although many allopathic physicians become internists, generalists, or family practitioners, most specialize in other medical fields.

Education: In almost every school in the US, acupuncture studies begin at master’s level where students could opt for a major or concentration in acupuncture. A master’s degree program is of 3 to 4 years which includes assessment procedures and therapeutic treatment of illnesses. The main focus of curriculum is on Western and Oriental medicines along with basic and advance acupuncture treatment methods. Further courses could be taken in needle technique, biomedicine and herbal medicine and acupuncture points. Reflection: I think that the acupuncture is very disciplinary because, you needed have the exact measures for do this because you can’t put the needles in the correct place or the patient can suffer the consequences and I don’t like me be an acupuncturist.

Reflection: I think that the people who do this therapy can help to the persons when has a problem in their body, because this therapy helps to the body in muscles problems, relaxation, and other relation things.
